1.7 World gen for anarchy?

With anarchy going public soon, we will get a new map.
My question is, would you rather wait with the public release till 1.7 so the new map has 1.7 biomes, or have it now with the current gen?

why allow people on before the world change just to have it reset shortly after? unless we warn them it will be changing at 1.7

I say we don't make it public till 1.7 then we get the new biomes, and we get xtra time to find any bugs!

Bukkit isn't though

Before I vote, if we were to keep it as is, would the new stuff generate in new chunks when bukkit does update?

In theory i think so. But there is a world limit so most people are going to go as far as possible so nobody will find them. therefore it will most likely not have new chunks to put the new boimes in.

I highly doubt people will be able to go 30 million blocks out

No J made the limit 10k blocks. so people can't go REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY far out.

Oh, ok. I think that might be a bit small. 50K seems better, or else the server will get really crowded.
